Is the new Samsung foldable phone worth buying?

Spread the love

Most of us keep up with technology to a certain degree, especially when it comes to new phones. If you think about it, we probably spend most of our days on our phones whether on social media or gambling online with STS Promo Code. Therefore it is important that our phones reflect and fulfill our needs. Luckily for all of us, new phones are popping up every now and then and there is something for everyone out there.

Samsung launched their new foldable phone, quite predictably, all eyes were on them for one reason (yes there’s more than one way but we’ll get to that later). Its innovative design enables a screen that can be folded in half and fit into your pocket. Naturally, many people were intrigued by this but backed away from their purchase when they saw the price. So, one of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind is, is this smartphone worth buying considering how expensive it is? This article will give you all the information you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 so that you can make a well-informed decision before buying one.

What exactly is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3?

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a foldable smartphone combined with a tablet that supports S Pen. It is also the third in a line of foldable smartphones that have been released by Samsung. This time, the manufacturer has not only improved the design but also added support for S Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 specifications include a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, an octa-core 2.0 GHz processor, and an Android 11 operating system. The device is available in two variants: a 256 GB variant with 12 GB of RAM and a 512 GB variant with 16 GB of RAM. Both variants come with 128 GB of internal storage and MicroSD card support for up to 2 TB of additional storage space.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 features a flexible OLED display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX glass. The main camera consists of three modules: an 8 MP selfie module, an autofocus 12 MP telephoto lens, and an autofocus 48 MP wide-angle lens. There are also features such as slow-motion recording at 960 fps and 4K video recording at 60 fps.

The good sides

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has some impressive features. First, it can fold in half. You can use it as a normal phone or you can unfold it to get a larger screen for watching videos, playing games, and more. It’s great for people who want to multitask and have a lot of things going on at once because you can switch between apps quickly by folding and unfolding the screen. It’s also got an impressive camera that takes high-quality photos without having to use any filters.

The bad sides

It costs a lot of money, so I would hate for you to accidentally drop it on the ground or spill something on it and have to replace it. Moreover, owning a foldable phone means you have to deal with two screens. If one screen breaks, you’re out of luck. Nowadays, if your screen breaks on a regular smartphone, you can get a new one for cheap on eBay or Amazon. It won’t be that cheap or easy to fix a broken screen on this phone.

The second reason is that it’s just not worth the money right now. For that amount of money, I’d rather buy an iPhone 12 Pro Max and an iPad Pro Magic Keyboard and still have some cash leftover.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3’s main selling point is that it has a flexible display and can fold in half like a clamshell. However, there are rumors that Apple will come out with an iPhone that has a flexible display next year so they can compete with Samsung’s line of foldable phones.
